A gentle drawstring trouser with side pockets and a false fly, cut to sit on the waist. Features 3 versions – cropped & tapered trouser, wide straight trouser or shorts.
Suitable fabrics: linen, soft cottons, fine wool, wool crepe, washed silk or rayon. Choose fabrics that drape and won’t bulk around the drawstring waist. The shorts have been made in Scuttle Black linen.

Pattern errata:
This is a beginner pattern not an intermediate as stated on the printed pattern.
On the old, printed pattern the pocket linings A and B were incorrectly numbered. Piece 5 should be called Piece 6. The larger of the pocket bag pieces is referred to as piece 5 in the instructions.
When constructing the pockets; piece 7 (the pocket facing) is attached to piece 6 (the smaller of the two pocket bags). These are then sewn to piece 5.
